Aladdin Movie Feedback

Hey guys welcome back, hope you all have had a good week!

Thought i could do a post about Aladdin’s movie, we all remember the cartoon? A Disney lover like me will remember for sure (but my favourite is Lion King). Me and two other friends went to VUE in Shepherds Bush to watch this great movie, and i would watch the movie again!

Knowing that Will Smith was involved i think we all gathered some jokes would have been said and laughter taken part. There was changes to the original, looking at it properly i think it has to do with equality, women’s rights.

I once again won’t go into much details for those who have not watched it (no spoiler here). I wanted this post be just my feedback and how i recommend to watch. I will watch again if anyone wants to go hahaha.

HAHAH.

Short and sweet this time… hope to see you on my next post. Thank you again for all you support

When i have a BAD day

Hey guys welcome back to my post, this is a up-to date post written at the minute. A bit different but i think its good to show you guys that life is not always a rainbow, we bloggers, influence’s, actors, all have our good days and our bad days like everyone else.

As you know if you follow me on Instagram, i was away for a week in Portugal, went with my parents and was a much deserved relaxing holiday, only not as relaxing as i had though. We had a few things to deal with and sort out, so we done a lot of walking and getting up early.

On Wednesday we walked hell of a lot due to parking spaces and sorting out paperwork, the city we are from has lots of hills and stairs so that also made it super tiring, At night time i was already filling pain but though it be OK next day after a long sleep, but NO! When i woke up my back and ribs hurt, walking hurt, breathing hurt… but i still had a few things to do in the city so made a effort and went out.  Night time i was exhausted and in pain.

The pain carried on throughout the rest of the holiday. On Monday night after going to watch Aladdin with friends and meet another friends for lunch, the pain had gone even worse! Carrying my backpack, pulling my luggage and walking a lot again on the Saturday did not help, so on Monday i was in so much pain that  i came straight to bed hoping Tuesday (Today), i would be better and able to return to work.

Woke up at 7,30 went the alarm rang, but when i tried to turn to snooze it….i could not move!! The pain was so much that i do not remember feeling this much pain ever. I seriously could not move at all the pain wold shoot down my back and make me so dizzy, i called my sister to tell her so she called my GP who prescribed Naproxen and later in the morning a doctor would call to see how i was feeling.

My sister had to help me sit up to take my tablets and even with help the pain is horrible. I sat in bed for most of the day, as any other position would make the pain worse, when the doctor called he said that there was not  much to do  with my scoliosis walking,  running, carrying heavy things or even sleeping wrong will cause the more pain to me than to someone who has not got spine problems.

So today was a bed day, nothing but sit up and doing nothing, then i though i might as well do this blog, keep you guys up to date and have you see that behind the scenes not all is what  it  looks!

on road to recovery and hopefully back to normal soon!

Have a great evening all and thank you once again for the support, See you on my next post.

xx

Hey guys welcome back, first of all want to apologies for not posting the last couple of weeks, been super busy behind the scenes. I am back now and this week there will be two posts to compensate you!

Who has been to London or lives in London, and gone on the River Themes cruise?I have been twice now, once many years ago with friends and this time with family. Both times went to the same place but i just love it.

So we decided that for the long weekend we would do something different, i booked the cruise tickets which really was not expensive for the type of cruise we got, i was expecting those little boats that hardly has any coverage and you feel the water splattering at you. We paid £14 each to go from Westminster Pier to Greenwich, we sat inside where there was long tables, bathrooms, a bar and was so warm thank god. Then if you wanted you could go to the upper deck of the cruise where obviously the view is much better, they had sitting area too and a little cover in case it rained which thank god it did not! The journey to Greenwich took bout 1h, the tour guide tells you what monuments you are passing and their history, (not that we paid any attention to it).

Inside the cruise

Me and the niece

Picnic time

Mummy and daughter

when we got to Greenwich, we walked around to find a place to have a picnic (even dough the weather was not a picnic one, but mum wanted to have one), we walked around a big park and found a little corner where the wind was calmer, we took out the food and dived in to it!

My brother in law loves history and all the old buildings, so as excepted he had googled important stuff to see, we walked up to the Meridian Line, which at the time i had no clue what he was on about and we all looked so confused, it was a long climb to get to the so called LINE, half way up i was out of breath (how unfit am i ), but the view….was amazing! You could see so much from up there, the green, the buildings, the fresh air! I am a fresh air nature person, so views, parks and water is where i love to be!

We walked around the Meridian line, there is a section that you can actually stand on the line but we had to pay for that,(we cheap so no-one wanted to go in). The day started to get cooler so we made the way back to the pier to catch the cruise back to Westminster, (the ticket was return too), seemed to take less time going back, i do not really know if it was because they wanted to get back faster as the trip was coming to an end or if it was because the river was rising, we could see the water was higher on the outside of the cruise. Anyhow we got back to Westminster and made our way back home. Was a great day out, i really do recommend it as a family trip but if possible maybe best in the summer so you can see the view from the upper deck and not freeze your butt off!

That was my day trip, hope you enjoyed this post and i will see you on my next post. Thank you for all the support and being here to read and give me the feedback.

Ate o proximo

Chapter ONE

Hey guys welcome back to Cabana’s World, i promised i would post chapters of my “BOOK” on here for you guys to read and give me your feedback! I have finished some of Chapter one so here is a section of the first Chapter…. More will follow if you guys show interest! Really would appreciate your feedback and comments means a lot to me.

With no me delay here it goes!

                                                                    Chapter ONE

You are not who you think you are! These words kept playing over and over in my head. What did he mean? Who is this man?

My mind got pulled away from that thought when I hear Samantha’s voice in the background, “Girl what is going on? I’ve been talking to a wall for the last 10 minuets” her blue eyes staring at me waiting for an explanation,

It’s nothing really” I take a sip of my coffee and here it goes “On the way here I got stopped by a man who told me I am not who I think I am! Just thinking what the hell he meant!”

Samantha gives out a high pitched laughter calling for unwanted attention from others in the cafe “Are you serious Rachael? A stranger?” she leans in closer to me from across the table and laughs “A complete stranger and by the sounds of it a complete psycho!”

I feel like a complete idiot! She was right, how could a stranger know anything about me? I could not help and look around the cafe to see if I spotted him. The cafe was a cosy old fashioned place with photos of London in the olden days hung up on their tiled walls; I and Sam have been coming here since we were at school.

“Have you spoken to your mum?” Sam’s voice grabs my attention once again,

“Not yet” I look down to my cup “I need to speak to her I know, just have to find the right time and right words”.

“Girl this opportunity will not be here for ever, you really need to hurry the hell up!” grabbing her bag and jacket, she blows me a kiss “Text you later chick” shouts out as she walks out of the cafe. I know she is right I really do need to sort my life out! Taking my pone out of my bag, I send my mother a text:

Mum, need to speak to you,

Meet you at the factory in two hours?

                                    Love you, Rachael xx

I press send with this anxious feeling that this conversation is not going to end well!

The factory is located in a busy industrial estate, been coming here since I can remember. My mothers’ office is on the 3rd floor, and then the production of all the clothes is on the 1st and 2nd floor.

As the lift doors opened, I took a deep breath and made my way to the office…

“Get this sorted will not repeat myself, I want this out of my way!” she swings her chair facing me “Have to go now” cutting off the call, she stands up to greet me. “What is it darling?” she sits down on the coach and signals for me to sit too.

My hands were sweaty and my throat was dry, my anxiety was hitting me and I did not know how to start this conversation;

“Well, you going to tell me what is happening, or did you come here just to sit in the office?” mum and her dry jokes bless her, she knew I hated the factory so no way would I have come here to relax

“No mum obviously not!” I sit back and fiddle with my butterfly scarf she had offered me on our last vacation together “I really need to speak to you about something which is very important to me, you remember a few weeks ago I told you there was a vacancy for a Law firm down town?” she stood up and held her hand up to tell me to stop talking,

“NO,NO AND NO Rachael! I have told you, your future is here at the factory with me!” she walks around to her desk and sits on her chair “I have worked my butt off to get to where I am, to give you the best future possible, have a life I never had, years I struggled to make this work, and now you tell me you do not want it!?” her eyes a watery and I can tell she is furious and hurt at the same time, her childhood was tough, worked from a very young age.

“I understand that mum, I am proud of you and grateful for all you have done for me, but I have my own dreams too” I did not want to hurt her and I know she did her best for us!

“I really do not understand Rachael why you hate the factory so much?” her voice is soft making me feel like a ungrateful person, some people would love to have the life I have right now.

“I do not hate it mum, just not my dream to be in the fashion industry, I want to be able to help people, defend people and advice them, I don’t understand anything about fashion.” I just wanted her to understand my point of view, she never listens to what I want.

“OK, Rachael why do you not come two times a week to start off and start learning? I will show you around and get you involved.” Sounded so excited with the idea that I could not say no, I nodded and got up to leave but mum walked up to me and gave me a hug. “See you at home darling, love you”. Back to step one… still not solved the issue!

So here it is… so far what do you think?

Want to thank you guys for all the support throughout my blogging journey, you guys are great!!

See you on my next post!
