Handmade Frames(Bespoke)

Hello Girls and Boys πŸ™‚

For those who know me, i have used glasses nearly all my life (blind as a bat), i don’t always like wearing them and don’t always find ones i like. I started working at an opticians last year, which have a workshop in the basement where they make handmade frames also known as Bespoke Frames. This workshop is one of the last in UK as all other opticians normally order frames from reps who work for companies in France, Germany and China. These companies use factories that make production faster and quality not as great and strong. Bespoke Frames can take up to 4 months to be made, the whole process is long and real acetone is used, making them stronger and durable which also makes them much much pricier. The good thing about Bespoke frames is that if you see a frame you like as in shape wise but NOT the colour, you can bring it to the work shop (picture also works) and have one made in the colour you wish and be unique. πŸ™‚ I had no idea this was even an option until i came and worked here, as i said i have always used glasses and always struggled finding ones i like, now my problem is solved, (obviously for me is easier and cheaper as i don’t pay for them hehehehe)Β  If you live in London then why don’t you pop in and have a look for yourself? i can also offer you a discount code which you an use when you come and visit us. πŸ™‚ just leave me a comment and i can contact you πŸ™‚

This is it for today’s post, thanks for reading and hope you liked it and found it interesting.

See you on my next post πŸ™‚ XAU
